I want to thank Jakob for rewarding me with the tickets for this night. This was months ago but I lost track of things and never posted any pictures up.Check him out HERE If you live in the hollywood area you could be lucky and win some tickets for the avalon, good gigs there ;)
Back to it, well the wife and I arrived early because we predicted a packed show. The time table was also a bit malinformed and we ended up getting there two hours before anything really started. "So are you guys drinking tonight?" As the woman streches out her hand to give us two wrist bands."Uhh, no we wont be drinking tonight, thanks" She seemed very surprised that we were not going to. I did not know we looked twenty one, there would have been not i.d check, but even if we did get the bands.....we were broke as fuck, and drinks are a pain in the ass expensive.
I won the tickets and the only name i knew was Brodinski. Hmmm...who is JAMAICA?

We had plenty of time to ill so we went upstairs to an open patio area. Candles lit with comfy candles? Don't mind if we do ;)
Oh this is BIG BLACK, he was a bit camera shy, but really cool though. Here we see him displaying the free gift bag. You go girl.

The couches inside were squeeky, and we were sitting next to some guys being interviewed, I still had no clue who they were O_O

"Hey JAMAICA IS ABOUT TO PLAY FIRST. Hey! those are the guys we were sitting next to upstairs! Hey! these dudes are pretty sick! I LOVE JAMAICA NOW!"

They reminded me of JUSTICE because of there music selection during their dj set but they had a style all to their own. Everything was going well and they looked like they had great communication on stage, everything was synced up on point.

Until, they attempted some fancy move where they looped in one track way to fast, they got stuck for a couple of seconds, but who cares, they saved it.

Next up wizzuzz the shizzooze.

Their music selection was not to my tasting, more of an acquired taste I have yet to acquire.

Yet, they had some great tracks here and their, plus great energy.

Good show, jolly good show. The wife and I were exhausted and we knew there was no way we would stay to see Brodinsky, but I'm glad i didn't because JAMAICA WAS THE SHIT. Sorry after show up in the patio, maybe next time.
